    Este artículo expone con detalle cuáles las actividades llevadas a cabo por el Grupo de Investigación de Historia de Nuestro Tiempo de la Universidad de la Rioja (España) entre los años 2005 y 2013. Además de seminarios, dirección de trabajos de investigación y congresos y ciclos de conferencias, por los que han pasado destacados historiadores españoles y extranjeros, grupo, dirigido por el profesor Carlos Navajas Zubeldía, ha impulsado varios proyectos en los cuales de desarrolla la llamada “historia del tiempo en que vivimos”. Esta se concibe aquí como un enfoque para un período que todavía sigue abierto y en que se produce “un diálogo científico entre los global y lo local, pasando por lo nacional”.

    This article examines in a detailed way what have been the activities carried out by the so-called Group of Research of the History of the Present of the University of La Rioja (Spain) between 2005 and 2013. Apart from seminars, supervision of research and congresses and lectures, where outstanding Spanish and foreign historians have been their present felt, the group, run by professor Carlos Navajas Zubeldía, has developed several projects on the so-called “history of the time we are living” [history of the present]. This is conceived as an approach to a period still open where “a scientific dialog between the local and the global, including the national” is taking place.
