  • The article focuses on a contemporary art survey of Greater New York in 2010. It offers information on the photograph series by Hank Willis Thomas. Sharon Hayes' video installation, however, integrated the concerns of participants inside and protesters outside the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in 2008 with love, along with legal rights. It also notes that among the most memorable images of the Whitney Biennial were a couch featuring news clippings of U.S. President Barack Obama and photographs of a disfigured Marine.
