  • The article offers information on the exhibition "Zeitgeist," held at the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin, Germany. The event provided an opportunity to witness an artistic tsunami of painterly possibility by combining American and German Neo-Expressionist painters. German painters found roots in the exhibition where their bold colors and mark-making could be understood in relation to other works of American artists. Meanwhile, the Italian painters included in the exhibition have reintroduced joy into "Zeitgeist."
