  • The article discusses time-based media and the relationship between contemporary art video and the motion picture entertainment industry. The author discusses a comment made by Italian art filmmaker Francesco Vezzoli as well as the work of other video artists including Tommy Hartung. The creation of the exhibition space Light Industry, organized by Ed Halter and Thomas Beard, is examined in light of the role of venues in the creation of contemporary art and cinema.
