  • The article explores the life and work of the American artist Richard Serra. Particular focus is given to events that are relevant to his work in the early-twenty-first century including the installation of a sculpture titled "7," located in Doha, Qatar, and a retrospective exhibition devoted to his drawing. The drawing exhibition was titled "Richard Serra Drawing: A Retrospective," and was held at the SFMOMA museum in San Francisco, California, in 2012.
