  • The author presents a personal narrative in which he reflects upon the 2012 sculpture "Heavy Bag," by the artist Vincent Szarek dealing with topics including how it is displayed at the ACE Gallery located in Los Angeles, California, how the work references S&M (Sadomasochism) culture and the construction of the sculpture.
