The article examines the life and work of the Mexico City, Mexico-born and based contemporary artist Adriana Lara. Particular focus is given to her experimental approach to her work, which includes various media including canvas, felt, wood and other found objects. Several of her solo and group exhibitions that have taken place since 2003 are also noted.
