The article offers information on several contemporary Indian Artists and their artworks which depict the reality of the country's street life. It is inferred that in the 1990s, globalization was a critical slogan for a generation of Indian artists who came forth during the decade. It gives description on the works of various artists including Sharmila Samant's video projection, Jitish Kallats's square quotes photographs, and Vivian Sundaram's installation.
