  • The article offers information on the contemporary art auctions in Christie's and Phillips de Pury & Co. in November 2008 in New York . The auctions at Christie's featured works from the collection of the late dealer Allan Stone which attracted many customers and set 12 records and gained $52.4 million. Phillips de Pury & Co.'s auction sale brought in a total of $42,316,000 for the company.
