• The article presents a brief history of the "Flash Art International" magazine. The first issue of the journal was published and edited by Giancarlo Politi in Rome in 1967. The journal became more international in 1970, focusing on foreign artists. The "News" section was introduced as a regular feature of the magazine in 1988. Francesco Bonami was appointed head of the U.S. Editorial Desk in 1992.
