  • The article presents a reprint of the article "Matthew Barney," by Francesco Bonami, which appeared in the 1992 issue of "Flash Art International." The article highlights the work of artist Matthew Barney and explains why his work has perfected art consumerism. The whole Barney phenomenon hit New York in March 1991 when rumor spread about the exhibition of the works of a young and talented artist.
