  • The article presents a reprint of the article "Interview with David Salle," by Robert Pincus-Witten, which appeared in the 1985 issue of "Flash Art International." Salle designed sets and costumes for numerous works by choreographer and dancer Karole Armitage. In the interview, Salle discussed his works and the notion of the autonomy of his work.
