  • The article focuses on the art work of New York-based artist Richard Aldrich. According to the author, Aldrich thinks of the paintings as props in the sense of their own interior specificity in relation to an outward meaning or function, which is one of incongruence. Aldrich adds that the prop's allowance is one that is of proliferation and that is not confined to fulfill a function.
