  • The article presents the views of Roupen and Arsen Kalfayan of Kalfayan Galleries in Greece about the status of art fairs and auctions and their effect on individual galleries. According to Roupen and Arsen, participation in art fairs has improved their international contacts and has expanded their client base. They believe that auction houses are not a threat because they represent the secondary market.
