  • The article offers information on the works of artist Anya Kielar at Casey Kaplan in New York. The image "Blue Lady" is an attenuated female figure whose core is a deep blue fabric rope which stands tall in her lace-up sandals. Moreover, the wide-eyed expressions of the skeletal female figures in "Black Lines," and "White Lines" convey an effective combination of horror and astonishment.
