  • The article focuses on the goal of various cities to become a cultural hub in the Middle East. In 2007, the city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates has launched a huge museum project which includes branches of the Louvre and the Guggenheim. The Islamic Art Museum was also launched in Doha, Qatar in November 2008. Three major German museums have also teamed up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to invent a universal museum.
