  • The article features the work of Poland-based artist Bartek Materka. It states that his art deforms the notions that real images pass through consciousness. It notes that his works analyses the influence of modern optical technologies on optical apparatus and on the process of generating images. Moreover, it reveals that deformations due to neurological disorders is one of his inspirations in art and that people from his surrounding are the subjects of his paintings.
