The article features the works of Agnieszka Brzezanska. It notes that the photography of Brzezanska is stripped of subject matter in an effort to arrive at the value of the image by means of a playful analysis of the medium in the era of its digital transfiguration. Moreover, it notes that photographing shadows is a form of visual tautology which is not entirely different from painting or drawing.
