  • The article presents the author's views on the life and works of artist and poet Marcel Broodthaers, who died on January 28, 1976. He comments on Broodthaers' love for literature and his deep-seated appreciation for the works of William Shakespeare. He also details his personal experiences of working with Broodthaers during his time as director of exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. The exhibition "Décor: A Conquest by Marcel Broodthaers" is also noted.
