  • The article offers the author's insights on Performa 09, an event in New York City that gathers contemporary artists to challenge their particle through performance. The author discusses some projects presented in Performa 09 which include Mike Kelley's "Day is Done," Joan Jonas' "Reading Dante," and "The Bruce Nauman Project," by Pierre Bismuth. The author says that Performa 09 has understood the possibilities in the city, resulting to an agenda that was full of exhibitions and performances.
