  • The article focuses on the Brandhorst Collection of modern art in the Museum Brandhorst in Munich, Germany which was funded by the Free State of Bavaria. It says that the collection, containing images from artists in the 20th and 21st century was established by Udo and Anette Brandhorst in 1970. Among the arts in the collection include the paintings and sculptures of Cy Twombly, the seven-part installation of Franz West and the "Western Union: Small Boats" video of British artist Isaac Julien.
