The archaeological monitoring of the cleaning and partial rubble removal works in Igoroin Mill (Musitu, Álava) during 2017 was a continuation of the previous season focusing on this flour mill complex. During this year’s season, the historical and ethno-archaeological study of the complex was completed. The analysis of the mill has proven of great help for its restoration and establishment as a heritage site by the Álava Provincial Council’s Historical-Architectural Heritage Service. On this occasion, the improvement actions focused on the southern half of the mill wheel channel, the side area and the main access to the mill building itself. New structural and ethnographic material was found, all linked to the milling and domestic areas of the proto-industrial complex from the mid 18th century (1756) to the second half of the 20th century (1970).
