    En 1936 y 1937, en el Estado Novo de António Oliveira Salazar, el nuevo ministro de Educación Nacional creó organizaciones estatales de mujeres y jóvenes. Lo que aquí me propongo es analizar la actuación de la Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina, contribuyendo así a la caracterización del régimen dictatorial portugués y del papel atribuido a las jóvenes y mujeres en el seno de la sociedad y de la familia en Portugal. En el caso concreto de las organizaciones de mujeres y jóvenes portuguesas – la Obra das Mães pela Educação Nacional y la Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina – no dejaron de ser influenciadas por otros regímenes dictatoriales y totalitarios que asolaron Europa, en el periodo de entreguerras del siglo XX. Abordaré por ello también, en un análisis comparativo, la relación entre las organizaciones femeninas estatales portuguesas y españolas en los años treinta y cuarenta del siglo XX, que permitirá diferenciar el régimen salazarista y sus organizaciones femenina y de la juventud.

    In 1936 and 1937, the new responsable for National Education in Salazar ́s «New State» created «from above» youth and women organizations. I propose here to analize the Portuguese Female Youth organization, Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina, hence contributing to the caracterization or Portuguese dictatorship and the role he gave to young women in family and society. In particular the women and young women organizations - Obra das Mães pela Educação Nacional and Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina –were influenced by other authoritarian and totalitarian regimes in Europe, in the inter-war period of the XXth Century. I will also focus, in a comparative perspective, the relationship between Portuguese and Spanish state women organizations in the thirties and the fourties of XXth century, which will allow to differenciate the Salazarist regime.
