Resumen de Adaptación y reducción del modelo áulico en una estructura palatina de Garb Al-Andalus: el palacio almohade de Silves (Portugal)

Este trabajo pretende poner de manifiesto el interés artístico de los gobernadores de Garb al-Andalus en época almohade, a través de los restos palatinos conservados en la alcazaba de Silves (Portugal) y fechados entre finales del siglo VI/XII y principios del VII/XIII.
Estos restos evidencian la adaptación y reducción del modelo áulico empleado por los califas almohades en sus palacios, con la finalidad de emular a los soberanos almohades y mostrar al mismo tiempo, la grandeza y exquisitez artística del Imperio.

This study tries to highlight the artistic interest of the governors of Garb al-Andalus during the almohad period, throughout the palatine remains found in the citadel of Silves (Portugal), dated between the endings of the 6th/12th century and the beginnings of the 7th/13th century. These remains show the adaption and reduction of the courtier model used by the almohad caliph in their palaces, trying to emulate the almohad sovereigns and, at the same time, to show the magnanimity and the artistic exquisiteness of the Empire.
