Resumen de I’m Spartacus! Kubrick, Espartaco y Lope de Vega

  Este artículo ofrece una relectura de la escena de la película Spartacus de Stanley Kubrick (1960), en la cual todos los esclavos vencidos se autoproclaman artífices de la rebelión, considerando la hipótesis de que el realizador y/o guionista se hubiera inspirado en la pieza española Fuenteovejuna de Lope de Vega (1618).

  This paper proposes a re-reading of the scene of Stanley Kubrick's film Spartacus (1960), in which all the vanquished slaves self-identify as the mentor of the rebellion, considering the hypothesis that the director and/or the scriptwriter had taken inspiration from the 1618 Spanish play Fuenteovejuna by Lope de Vega to write it.
