  • This article is focused on the study of the mint output of Corcyra after the formation of the Roman protectorate (229 BC). This coinage consists of silver and bronze denominations with a range of types influenced by the tradition of Corinth and the Hellenistic kingdoms and the prototypes of denarii. As their chronology has not been firmly established, a new proposal is currently suggested taking into consideration the archaeological research and the limited hoard evidence.
