    • Interlinks (“Entrecruzamientos”), the title of the conference cycle for the 2016–17 academic year, is extremely appropriate for defining the multifaceted stature of Juan Navarro Baldeweg as an architect, painter, sculptor, engraver, teacher and essayist. Born in Santander in 1939, he has been a visiting professor at the Centre for Advanced Visual Studies of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has held the chair for design at the School of Architecture of Madrid since 1977 and also been a visiting professor at prestigious international architecture schools, including at the universities of Pennsylvania, Yale, Princetown and Harvard.
