  • The article explores the return of art and artifacts to Africa items remove under colonial rule. Noted is the report "The Restitution of African Cultural Heritage," by Felwine Sarr and Bénédicte Savoy in 2018. Also discussed is UNESCO, African art collections owned by institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British Museum, and the decolonization of systems of knowledge.
