    Este artículo tiene el propósito de trazar un recorrido por algunas imágenes de paisajes en la historia del arte argentino, uniendo distintos enfoques sobre el género del paisaje, sus definiciones, su construcción, su legitimización; y atendiendo a los usos que las imágenes han tenido, habilitando ciertas lecturas, como coloniales o cientificistas, y obturando a su vez otras posibles lecturas.

    The aim of this article is to trace some landscape painting's path throughout the history of Argentinian art, joining together different points of view upon the landscape genre, its definitions, its building, its legitimization, and enabling some lectures, such as colonial or scientificists, and disabling some others, taking into consideration the alternative uses these paintings could have had.
