    El presente artículo trata de repensar la historia de la filosofía de occidente a partir del texto Nousautres Grecs de Derrida, desde el que se podrá concluir que la filosofía tradicional de occidente ha consistido en dominar la indecibilidad de la alteridad. Volvemos a la “cosa griega” y a lo “griego” como el origen del pensamiento filosófico occidental, siendo éste una construcción realizada a partir de las lecturas mediadas de los textos platónicos. Se mostrará que la alteridad, y no la ontología, es la condición de posibilidad de toda filosofía.

    The present article tries to rethink the history of western philosophy based on Derrida’s text Nousautres Grecs. From this text it will be concluded that the traditional western philosophy has consisted in dominating the undecidability of alterity. We return to the “Greek thing” and to the “Greekness” as the origin of the western philosophical thought, being this one a construction made from mediated readings of the Platonic’s texts. This article will demonstrate that alterity, and not the ontology, is the condition of possibility of all philosophy.
