La estrategia y táctica terrorista de los actores individuales en la extrema derecha estadounidense

    El terrorismo de extrema derecha en los Estados Unidos constituye el desafío más importante al que se enfrenta el país norteamericano en materia contraterrorista, dado el número constante de incidentes que ocasiona y la forma en la que se autoorganiza. Debido al impacto mediático del terrorismo yihadista, la comunidad académica ha abandonado el estudio del terrorismo de extrema derecha, un fenómeno que es clave para comprender la actual situación del terrorismo individual.

    Este artículo pretende analizar el recorrido histórico que configura la estrategia y táctica del terrorismo individual en la extrema derecha estadounidense -denominado mediática y erróneamente como terrorismo de “lobos solitarios”- a lo largo de los siglos XX y XXI y resaltar la repercusión que tiene este proceso en la figura actual del terrorista individual en todas sus vertientes ideológicas.

    Para ello, mediante un análisis documental, se han investigado las principales obras de los teóricos de la extrema derecha estadounidense referentes a la estrategia y táctica del terrorismo individual.

    Right-wing terrorism in the Unites States is the most important challenge facing the United States in counterterrorism, given the constant number of incidents it causes and the way it organizes itself.

    Due to the media impact of Islamic terrorism, the academic community has abandoned the study of far-right terrorism, a phenomenon that is key for understanding the current situation of individual terrorism. This article aims to analyze the historical route of the individual terrorist`s tactic and strategy in the US far right -wrongly called in the media as lone wolf terrorism- along the XX and XXI centuries and to highlight the impact of this process on the current figure of the individual terrorist in all its ideological trends. To do this, through a documentary analysis, the main works of American right-wing theorists have been studied dealing with individual terrorist`s tactics and strategy.
