Analysis of the displacement force on the ferromagnetic matrix in magnetic fields

    • The magnetic filter with the superconductive electromagnet as the source of the field is considered. The manufacturing process with that device needs the cycling removal of the filter. The matrix displacement (treated as a porous ferromagnetic material) in magnetic the field causes forces on the matrix filter and the electromagnetic winding. In the paper the mathematical model for two construction variants of the filter is presented: with “long” matrix and compensation windings. The simulation results are shown.
