  • The author focuses on seven forces of change that will impact the future of public health practice. He considers how the expansion of health insurance coverage due to the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will have in access to clinical services and talks about the impact climate change will have on public health practices. He reflects on the impact of informatics and social media on public health and talks about the transition of the U.S. population to an older population.
