    • The article profiles nursing educator Teri Mills, founder of the National Nursing Network Organization (NNNO). Particular focus is given to her lobbying of the U.S. Congress for the creation of a National Nurse for Public Health government office to collaborate with the U.S. Surgeon General. Also noted is the report "The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health," by researcher Susan Hassmiller and colleagues, which looks at the role of nursing leadership in improving health outcomes.
