  • The article profiles former physician George Wolff, who was born on April 9, 1886 in Germany and died in Washington, D.C. on September 16, 1952. A discussion of Wolff's research on medical topics and social medicine, and of his relationship with his mentor, academician and social medicine advocate Alfred Grotjahn, is presented.
