  • The article discusses research investigating prostate cancer deaths and incident cases among American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Men between 1999-2009. The authors linked mortality and incidence data with Indian Health Service (IHS), focusing on residents of IHS Contract Health Service Delivery Area (CHSDA) counties. The authors found that prostate cancer deaths were higher in AI/ANs than White men and that prostate cancer incidence rates was lower for the same groups.
