Daniel Tarantola, Kenneth R. de Camargo Jr., Sofia Gruskin
The authors focus on the human aspirations of justice and health. They state while justice is about law, it also is about democracy and the distribution of capacity, power and social roles, while determinants of health are inclusive of living in dignity, freedom and the fairness enjoyed in how goods and services are accessed. They suggest oversight structures and mechanisms for justice and health are weak on the international level and call for a rekindling of commitments to justice and health.
