    • The article offers news briefs in the global health care sector as of June 2016. A study showed that the water crisis in Flint, Michigan could lead to a more than twofold increase in blood lead levels among young children in the area. U.S. President Barack Obama and several U.S. states are implementing measures to improve the correctional systems in the country. A United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) report showed that at least 200 million women underwent female genital mutilation.
