  • The article discusses the search for an objective measurement to pinpoint how autism originates for the diagnosis and the development of better treatments. Topics include the case of Adrianna and Jermaine Hannon's son Jayden, who was diagnosed with autism, the series of events in Jayden's life leading up to his diagnosis, the benefits of an early intervention method, called Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), and the brain hormone oxytocin, which could mimic the benefits of ESDM.
