  • The article discusses a study from chemical engineers such as Robert Jackson of Duke University, published in the July 2013 issue of the periodical "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA," that indicates that the likelihood of methane contamination in drinking water increases in areas near hydraulic fracturing wells in Pennsylvania.
