  • The article reports that filmmaker and deep sea explorer James Cameron is donating his submarine, DEEPSEA CHALLENGER, to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts. Topics include DEEPSEA's manned mission to the Pacific Ocean's Challenger Deep site in the Mariana Trench, Woods Hole's Hadal Ecosystem Studies (HADES) project, and the opening of Woods Hole's Center for Marine Robotics in 2013.
