Resumen de Les Italiens en Abyssinie à l’époque du fascisme: les « ensablés »

  Este artículo explora dos dimensiones fundamentales de la migración italiana en Etiopía durante las épocas colonial y postcolonial. En primer lugar, se analizará la diversidad social de los inmigrantes italianos en Abisinia y su elección de permanecer en Etiopía en 1941 tras la pérdida del Imperio. Posteriormente, insistiremos en el papel esencial de las relaciones entre los antiguos colonos (insabiatti, enterrados en la arena) y las mujeres etíopes. Discutiremos la problemática de la «migración por razones sentimentales» que será examinada cuestionando la eventual existencia de una pedofilia de tipo fascista.

  This paper explores two fundamental dimensions of the Italian migration to Ethiopia during the Italian colonial occupation of the Empire and the postcolonial period. It analyzes the diversity of the social profile of Italian migrants in the first place and their choice to stay in Ethiopia after the loss of the Empire in 1941. Secondly we will analyze the essential role of the relationships between Italian ex-colons (insabbiati, ex-colons buried in the sand) and Ethiopian women. We will explore a “love migration and the question of the existence of a fascist pedophilia.

  Cet article explore deux dimensions fondamentales de la migration italienne en Éthiopie à l’époque coloniale et pendant la période postcoloniale. Dans un premier temps sera analysée la diversité sociale des migrants italiens en Abyssinie et leurs choix de demeurer en Éthiopie en 1941 après la perte de l’Empire. Dans un second temps, nous insisterons sur le rôle essentiel des rapports entre anciens colons (« ensablés ») et femmes éthiopiennes. Nous évoquerons la problématique d’une « migration d’amour » qui sera examinée en questionnant l’existence d’une pédophilie de type fasciste.
