  This study aims to identify the presence of the advantage of acting as principal in different leagues in Europe, analyzing the impacts present in the teams in each level within the competitions. For its accomplishment were collected the results of the matches, field command of the participating teams and the final classifications of the championships during 9 seasons in 5 leagues. In order to determine the advantage of being a client, the percentage of points obtained using a favorable field command and the total number of points obtained was used, which is identified if the result is greater than 50%. For the comparison between the different levels, the chi-square test was applied. As a result found, the presence of the advantage in all the competitions is observed, being found indices between 58.4% and 61%. Among the analyzes comparing the categories, significant statistical differences were observed in Category 1 in all competitions and in Category 5 in 4 of them, with the exception of the German Championship. Based on the results, it is concluded that there is an advantage in being the principal in the main European leagues, with the drop being the positive indicator for the improvement of the result obtained in the competitions.

  Este estudo tem como objetivos identificar a presença da vantagem de se atuar como mandante em diferentes ligas da Europa, analisando os impactos presentes nas equipes em cada nível dentro das competições. Para sua realização foram coletados os resultados das partidas, mando de campo das equipes participantes e as classificações finais dos campeonatos durante 9 temporadas em 5 ligas. Para a determinação da vantagem de se atuar como mandante, foi utilizado a porcentagem de pontos obtidos atuando com mando de campo favorável e relação ao total de pontos obtidos, sendo que o mesmo é identificado se o resultado for superior a 50%. Para a comparação entre os diferentes níveis, aplicou-se o teste de chi-quadrado. Como resultado encontrado, nota-se a presença da vantagem em todas as competições, sendo encontrados índices entre 58,4% e 61%. Entre as análises de comparação das categorias, foram observadas diferenças estatísticas significantes na Categoria 1 em todas as competições e na Categoria 5 em 4 delas, com exceção do Campeonato Alemão.
