  • The author argues that personal computers require computer keyboards and mice despite the computer and software company Microsoft's launch of the Windows 8 operating system that uses touch-screen technology. According to the author, touch screens are useful for mobile devices, but personal and desktop computers that use touch screens are inconvenient to clean and can cause arm pain among users.
