He compares the use of steroids by U.S. major baseball league (MLB) player Barry Bonds with a surgical procedure performed on MLB player Curt Schilling that allowed Schilling to play in a baseball game, wondering if both performing-enhancing drugs and performance-enhancing procedures should be barred from sports.
