  • In this article the author discusses why it is foolish for individuals to try to predict the future of technology. He notes that as a technology columnist he is often asked to speak about the future of technology. He offers some guidelines for individuals attempting to predict technology's future, including predicting events that are likely to happen, understanding that history repeats itself, and extrapolating information from obvious trends.
