  • The article discusses the development of four technology products. Topics include a microgenerator that converts ambient vibrations into usable power, called Bolt, by MicroGen Systems, transparent solar panels to cover screens and other surfaces by Sun Partner Technologies, and a prototype device that harvests power from existing wireless transmissions to send messages over a local Wi-Fi network by University of Washington researchers.
