Resumen de ¿Cómo se construye la noción de ciencia social latinoamericana desde Scopus? Convergencia entre ensayo y análisis categórico

El texto tiene por objeto dilucidar el tipo de escrito por el cual se construye la noción de ciencias sociales en Latinoamérica una vez iniciado el siglo XXI. Mediante una revisión sistemática desde la plataforma Scopus, se aplicaron filtros de búsqueda específicos para el cumplimiento del objetivo. Arrojando en primera instancia 368 publicaciones y luego de seleccionar 23 publicaciones según su pertinencia temática en relación a artículos que den cuenta de la discusión en la construcción teórica y epistemológica de la noción de ciencias sociales entre los años 2000 y 2017, se concluye que tanto el ensayo -entendido como una estructura discursivo teórica de orientación vocacional intelectual-, así como el análisis de variables categóricas, son los principales recursos de escritura y análisis, por los cuales podemos dar cuenta de la discusión respecto a la noción de ciencias sociales donde la discusión epistemológica y los estudios cienciométricos dan cuenta de una reflexión del área de estudio.

The purpose of the text is to elucidate the type of writing by which the notion of social sciences is constructed in Latin America once the 21st century has begun. Through an systematic review since the Scopus platform, specific search filters were applied to fulfill the objective. Throwing in first instance 368 publications and after selecting 23 publications according to their thematic relevance in relation to articles that account for the discussion in the theoretical and epistemological construction of the notion of social sciences between 2000 and 2017, it is concluded that both the essay - understood as a theoretical discursive structure of intellectual vocational guidance -, as well as the analysis of categorical variables, are the main resources of writing and analysis, by which we can account for the discussion regarding the notion of social sciences where epistemological discussion and scientometric studies give account of a reflection of the study area.
