El transporte sanitario se enmarca dentro del transporte de viajeros, pero como una clase de transporte especial en atención a su finalidad. En atención a esta finalidad, en esta clase de transporte prima en la regulación cuanto se refiere a la seguridad y atención a la persona. De otro lado, teniendo en cuenta la existencia de Cruz Roja Española, la normativa regula el transporte sanitario con carácter de especialidad respecto de esta institución

AbstractThe sanitary transport is framed within the passengers’ transport, but as a kind of special transport due to its purpose. In response to this purpose, in this kind of transport, everything related to the security and the focus on the individual takes precedence in the regulation. On the other hand, considering the existence of the Spanish Red Cross, the legislation regulates the sanitary transport as a speciality of this institution
