Resumen de Revista Cubana de Reumatología: hacia nuevos estándares internacionales

  Este 2018 comienza la Revista Cubana de Reumatología con dos nuevas características la implementación de un DOI para sus artículos y paginado electrónico. La implementación de DOI en los artículos de revistas científicas permite asegurar la identificación permanente y unívoca de un documento. Los artículos a partir de este número contarán con un DOI provisto por el repositorio Zenodo. La otra característica que contarán los artículos será el paginado electrónico. Con su implementación en la medida que los artículos sean aprobados, maquetados y sus galeradas aceptadas por los autores podrán ser incorporados a la sección “Avances online” tanto en formato HTML como PDF con todos los metadatos para su citación, permitiendo una mayor visibilidad temporal. Se espera que las nuevas características permitan a la revista consolidar su papel como canal para la comunicación científica en el campo de la reumatología sobre la base de estándares internacionales de marketing digital.

      This 2018 begins the Cuban Journal of Rheumatology with two new features, the implementation of a DOI for its articles and electronic paging. The implementation of DOI in the articles of scientific journals allows to ensure the permanent and univocal identification of a document. The articles from this number will have a DOI provided by the Zenodo repository. The other feature that the articles will count will be the electronic paging. With its implementation to the extent that the articles are approved, corrected proof and their galleries accepted by the authors can be incorporated into the section "Online first" in both HTML and PDF format with all the metadata for their citation, allowing greater temporal visibility. It is expected that the new features allow the journal to consolidate its role as a channel for scientific communication in the field of Rheumatology based on international digital marketing standards.
